The Clinic is open 5 days a week but CLOSED ON THURSDAYS. Should you telephone outside Consulting Hours, your message will be recorded and dealt with immediately the Clinic reopens or as soon as a Consultant arrives. |

The Fees |

FEES INDICATED BELOW ARE FOR YOUR GUIDANCE ONLY It is not possible to give a precise figure because each patient is uniquely prescribed and may require differing quantities of treatment and medication. However, on average the charge for liquid medicine only, individually prescribed and personally dispensed, would be in the region of £11.00 to £17.00 PER WEEK (4 weeks treatment is usually prescribed). Any additional medication necessary (tablets, capsules, lotions, ointments etc.) would incur an extra charge accordingly. At Hydes we source herbs from worldwide in order to obtain the best quality and ensure supply in any season. We negotiate for the best price only when quality is assured by competing suppliers. We never reduce quality to achieve cost savings. Sometimes the supply and cost is effected by the buying power of large pharmaceutical companies who are increasingly using herbs. The high expense of herbs, reflects the problems of growing, harvesting, drying and shipping the raw herb to us. It also reflects the considerable overheads involved in processing and maintaining adequate stocks of prepared tincture. Unlike many herbalists we manufacture our own medicines to ensure a consistant quality and strength. The medicines we dispense are therefore of high quality and valuable. The INITIAL CONSULTATION fee is charged at the discretion of each Practitioner and is usually between £60 and £85 depending on the individual consultation. The initial consultation will normally last at least ONE HOUR, after which a further 15-20 minutes should be allowed for dispensing your individual prescription. Any SUBSEQUENT CONSULTATIONS are normally in the region of £45 -£65 depending on the duration and type of consultation |
